How I communicate.

Communication is vital, especially for hopeful journalists.  Sad to say but a lot of my socializing is done through electronically a piece of electronic device. If I had the choice, I’d rather do it in person.

I love to talk and socialize and it’s done in many different ways. I think I’ve done a whole lot more [more of what?] after getting an iPhone because of the Facebook and Twitter applications which are available.

Social networks such as Facebook are is a new found love of mine. Facebook, for example,  It allows me to do everything in one place and keep in touch with people who I wouldn’t see on a regular basis. In front of OR Protected by Behind a computer screen, you’re able to reject an invite or friend request. Imagine doing that in person? Thank god for Facebook!

If you see me walking down the street or sitting in class, you’d probably catch me fidgeting with my phone. I text quite a bit and love how I you can respond whenever I you want.

If you asked me this question ten years ago, I would have said, "I use mail". probably answer it by telling you I used the mail. Seems like ages ago, right? Well snail mail no more because I don’t even know where my mailbox is located.

It’s fascinating to know that You can be anywhere in the world and people can know exactly what you’re doing. Twitter, which I’m still new to, has got to be the best invention next to the Internet. Instead of waiting to tell friends that I just spotted someone fall or fart in public, I tweet it and the “lol” and “hahas” come [not appropriate verb use] pouring into splurging in from my phone.

My father has Facebook (no worries, he’s in my limited profile) and is considering Twitter. I don’t know if he wants to be cool or if he’s trying to track me down. I think he misses me, a lot.

I have family and friends who live afar and I communicate with them over the phone. But that gets costly and that’s when I make them get Skype. It’s neat how I can talk to them and see them at the same time. Haven’t said, “long time no see” in, well, a long time.

As I’m writing this, I’m also “talking” to six other people through MSN. The nudges I receive are a bit annoying but my friends love to talk, just like me. I grew up with the computer and it’s not my fault this new generation has indulged itself into the matrix world. Like they say, if you can’t beat them, join them!

In a short amount of time, technology has drastically changed the way we socialize. Let’s see if the world will become like Will Smith’s movie, I,Robot. Now that would be so cool! Minus the killer robots, that is.
